Director of Finance and Human Resources

  • Scott joined the MSB team in 1999 following 3 years of teaching English and Math at a local private school. He holds a M.S. Degree in Counseling and brings 15 years experience in the field of Business. Scott plays an integral part in maintaining our company’s vision and mission. He oversees and directs treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate, long range forecasting, and insurance activities for the organization. He also directs and coordinates the establishment of budget programs.

  • Develops client contact, reporting and relationship development strategies
  • Directs school Medicaid operations including process management, client relations and customer service
  • Proposes client-focused products and services to promote MSB's vision to provide outstanding solutions for special educators
  • Executes strategies to implement partnerships with school districts, education service centers and vendors who provide outstanding solutions for special education

  • Over fifteen years experience in assessing client needs and exceeding expectations
  • Evaluates existing operating procedures to improve organizational processes
  • Analyzes district feedback to integrate desired functionality and optimize client experience
  • Plays an integral role in development, testing and implementation of MSB™ products
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience relating to the Special Education process
  • Three years experience in database management, software related issue resolution and document creation
  • Several years of experience in the Medicaid to Schools program, including internal quality assurance audits
